Cisco Aci What Is a Tenant

In Cisco’s Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI), a tenant is an administrative boundary within the fabric. Tenants can be used to separate and isolate different parts of the network for security or other reasons. Each tenant has its own virtual routing and forwarding (VRF) instance, which allows for complete isolation of traffic between tenants. Tenants can also be assigned different levels of access control, so that some tenants may have full access to the network while others may be restricted.
